where to creat your own 2d art

Hi all if you know a website that I can download to make art and it works with game salad please tell me. All I know is paint.net and gimp not that good. It wont let me use the art I make on it so please tell me if you know anything.

That's would be a good option for freeware as a lot of people here could help you if you have questions about using it with Gamesalad.

Yeah, download Inkscape, and take some time and go through these tutorials. Can't get any easier to get you on your way than doing this.
