Hi everyone,

Is there ANY way to make particles collide?

If not ill just make a spawn actor and make them collide.

Thanks anyway for anyhelp.

I've never tried this...my hunch is that you cannot if applied to the original actor. Particles I think are just special effects...not physical elements.

You could spawn a trailing actor (linked to the original actor with constrained XYs) with the particles behavior in the trailer actor that has collider properties on it that operate separately from the original actor.

particles can not collide, altho they can be influenced by gravity

can particles collide with other actors (i.e. ground/walls, etc.)?

Sorry, should have been more clear in my rephrasing of this question.

Was just seeking clarification since I didn't know if Orbz was referring to particles colliding with each other vs. my question of can they collide with/react to another actor. Those are (in my mind) two different questions.

Either way, sounds like the answer is 'no'.

no to both, particles are not collision detected
