Replicate not working

So, I am using replicate to show the number of lives remaining. When the hero loses a life, it works fine. However, I have a power up that restores 3 life. Using debugging statements, the values are changed. However, the indicator flashes to the correct life for half a second, but then goes back.

    It sounds like it could be a timing issue whereby the replicate behavior is running just before/after a change is made to the value of your life attribute. Can you post a screenshot or videos of your rules so we can help?
