Hey guys,

Im testing out IAP since I got Pro last night, and I followed the cookbook tutorial to the letter. ( I've done it multiple times to make sure it's not just me) and I am getting an error which reads: In-App Purchase Error Product identifier was not recognized: unlockworlds2and3 ( my id )

Any Idea why?

EDIT: And also if I may ask - how do you get rid of the Made with GameSalad screen?

Thanks in advance.

you need to use the same ID as your app on iTunes connect com.xxx.xxx etc... also set-up a test users and log in as that on your device.

@ultima - when your say log in as that on your device, may I ask to where I log in or how?

    Thanks both of you.

in your preference, there's a iTunes area, lets you log out and back in with your new "test user" you just set-up in iTunes connect.

you may also need to set-up a apple ID in the interface where provisioning profile is found if you haven't done that already as well... 74sadf896as.com.xxx.xxx for example (same as your product ID)...

@ultima - I don't see what your trying to point out, I'm sorry.

So your saying that is why I'm getting that error? Because I don't have a test account?

yes, you need to set-up a test account, and also when you test publish on adhoc you need to use the name ID as set-up on your iTunes connect.
(the reverse url thing.. by default it's com.gamesalad.gamename... you need to change that to whatever you have on the iTunes connect com.braydon_SFX.game for example... ) this is the reason you are getting error message... and if you don't set-up a test account you'll get a different error message.

take a look at the cookbook again, it's explained in detail.

When you say use the name ID as set-up on your ITunes connect - do you mean when you are going through the process of publishing to get your.app?
Because of the Cookbook I see this: itunesconnect.gamesalad.com) Or do I need to create a new app ID?
So it's the second screen in and it asks you for your provisioning profile and then the name - is this what you mean?

Wish there was a video ;)
Sorry for asking all of these questions.

you are doing an ad-hoc right... if you are, yes you need to go through the process of publishing on iTunes connect (putting in icons, screen cap, app name... etc) and you'll also set-up a com.yourdomain.gamename ID.... you'll have to use that when you publish the adhoc .app file (replacing com.gamelsalad.gamename)

just wait for TSB for the tutorial video if you are still stuck =)...

@tshirtbooth you should sell DVD or download packages of your tutorials.

Yes, I am doing an adhoc.

Yeah I might have to do that - although @P-O-M has already done it, maybe he can help a little. :)

    Thanks for your help, @ultima.

    @Braydon_SFX
I have a same problem too.
    Did you resolve?

@bang.JS - Sorry, still working at it.
I think my problem is that I need a test account, as ultima said. I believe I created one, just need to figure out where to log in on my iPhone.
