Mac games not working on snow 10.6.8 - can i test publish without mac certs?

I just did a a couple of tests publishing to mac. But the file I receive from GS's servers can't be opened. I'm using snow 10.6.8 (I've not been publishing to mac before now)

It looks like having the mac certs (so you can submit to the mac app astore) is optional. Is that right? So we should be able to publish to mac without yet having the mac app store licence and then open on any mac?

This is the error message I get when trying to open it:

Check with the developer to make sure Ashley Ao works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and MAc OS X

Any advice appreciated, cheers.

So to clarify, my question is: can we publish to mac without the mac app store licence? If yes, is this a GS server issue or am I missing something obvious?

Yea I was able to publish to mac without incense 9.89 but once 9.90 came I'm not able to now and I been talking with Tech support for a few weeks now but still no fix so something changed in 9.90 and the error says something about missing a image be sure to email Tech support.

Actually I figured away to make a 9.90 build work I just copied and pasted the terminal file from the MacOS folder in a old 9.89 build of my game into the MacOS folder of the 9.90 build and game starts up and works fine on Mac desktop but a straight 9.90 build want work so the problem is in that file.

@BBenk That's a good find! I don't have any mac builds of my game pre 0.9.9.0 so I may have just have to wait for 0.9.9.1 assuming they fix the issue.

@BBenk - This has been fixed now. So mac games can open in Snow.
