Hi guys,

Another question from an obvious newbie; may I copy rules and attributes from an actor to another actor?

Thanks for your help and patience :D

Rules, yes. Attributes, no. To copy a rule, click on the rule (or shift-click for multiple rules) and then use Edit-->Copy or cmd+c. Paste the rule(s) into a different actor by clicking in the actor's rule area and using Edit-->Paste or cmd+v. If you need to duplicate a set of rules, just option-drag the actor in the actors area and then change/delete rules in the duplicated actor as needed. (Duplicating an actor WILL duplicate the actor's attributes.)

You can make custom behaviors by dragging the rules into the "custom" section of the Behaviors tab. Easiest if you create a group, and drag all rules and behaviors into that group, give it a name, and drag and drop it into the window, you can then just drag and drop that custom behavior into other actors. If the rules are referencing attributes, they will copy over, but you can't make an actor attribute, and copy it to another actor, like tatiang said.
