Yesterday i check appstore and it seems that APPLE Removed this function for all Updated Apps, they back to old release date

So Updates arent treated as a new Release apps

I guess thats why 2 of my updated games have gotten lesser downloads instead :P
We have to really release some good stuff continuously...

Dang it! Apple messed up the posting of my app when it was first released... it was a approved but wasn't showing up on the iPad version of the store for a week. It just popped up yesterday.. so we were hoping it would get a chance with an update to actually start the ball rolling on sales... guess I just wasted my time! Grrr...

The Release dates are definitely one of the biggest flaws in Apples system. Its nice to have updates show up there but people very rapidly abuse the hell out of it. So its probably better they have gone back IMO.

Well I guess they still didn't figure it out. They should probably find a way to showcase new releases and highlight updates separately, but the mess that they did is a joke. They keep on messing up new releases, let people spam the new releases with updates and keep changing the rules. Once they messed up my release date and agreed to fix it after 2 weeks - thanks for nothing Apple...

I whole heartedly agree. For a time, all there was were updates on the front pages. Now all they need to do is fix how they handle release dates, and convey that to us in a clear, and concise way, so we can market ourselves properly.

What I don't understand is why Apple can't have a seperate section for 'Newly Updated Apps' or something like that... Seems pretty logical to me. But then again, Apple does a lot of things that are pretty illogical...
