So , I have been creating my game and all looked well, so I paid for $99 version to try it out on my iphone. When I played the game its all jittery and slow and isn't smooth at all like it is on the simulator. Why is this? and what's with the long loading times to change scene?

Think it could be the scene as there are quite alot of actors in it. Ill shorten the scenes down and test it then.

you may need to think of ways to recycle moving actors. So when a bad guy leaves the view don't leave it there or even destroy and spawn new. Use change attribute rules to just change its location to just off screen on the other side so it seems like a new bad guy is coming at you (just an example). If you think outside of the box you can make a game with fewer than 20 movable actors (not a hard rule, but a good suggestion by T) that seems like it has a lot more than that to the person playing the game.

Scitunes, you raise a point I've been wondering about.

Some of you guys have don't tests and talked about number of actors, but I wonder:

Is there any difference between number of actors on stage and number of different actors on stage? What I'm wondering is if you had one actor and changed the image depending on circumstance, would there be any fps advantage?
ya no more then 20 or so movable actors.
So what about non-movable actors? What is the rule of thumb there?
