When a certain actor collides with an object the scene resets. This works when I preview straight from scene i am in but when i preview from a different scene then move onto the current one it does not work and the scene does not reset. The attributes change accordingly to make it reset, it just doesnt reset.

Any help much appreciated.

When you on the preview , you said " then move onto the current one it does not work"
How do you move to that scene ? double clicking the thumbnail? or from an actual actor with a rule ?

Well when the current level is complete the actor moves off scene, when it is off scene the scene changes to the next one.

    Got it ,
It would be very helpful if you show an image of you rules , the change scene rules that don't work , do you think you can do that?

i believe your bottom rule is clashing... you have quickdie set to false after 0.2 seconds, and reset scene after 0.6 seconds, but when quickdie is true.. so i might be wrong but try changing set quickdie to false say after 0.7 seconds see if that makes a difference.

wow thats a whole lot of conditions in one rule itself, why dun you make a group and dump the whole lot inside and collide with group instead of type. It's easier to see when troubleshooting.

The problem is in your first and second picture , where you are destroying the actor and THEN changing the attribute !
First make the change attribute , and then destroy your actor .
Think about it for a sec, if you tell the engine to destroy the actor , and then do a second task , this "second task" will never trigger cause that actor was destroyed a split second ago!

    Cheers.

    cheers guys,
the thing is, it does actually work. When you go straight into the level and die they whole thing works and it resets, it just wont work when coming having completed the previous level. I even put another attribute in with the reset scene and told it to change to true when it happens and it does change to true, so it does actually work... It just wont reset? By the way the two pictures shouldnt collide because they are from different versions of the same actor and only one is in each scene.
