GSHelper.com Template Issues

Using the Rotating Menu Template by TShirtBooth and just wanted to know is this template specifically for iPhone 4 and 4s?
It's having performance issues running on my iPhone 3GS, it loads the scene but remains irresponsive for around 5 seconds before you can start to rotate the sub-menus as im assuming its still loading, plus would appear to be alittle laggy.
Its not that my graphics are too big, they are all very small files, just seems odd i cant get the menu to run smooth when the rest of the app does, really dont want to have to require armv7 on this one.
Thanks

Its just when i load up the application on my iPhone 3GS, the main menu (rotating menu page) is irresponsive to clicks for approximately 5 seconds before its loaded and able to start rotating the sub-menus, and when rotating it would appear to be laggy.
I'm just basically asking is this template not compatible with the performance specifications of an iPhone 3GS and therefore only applicable to Iphone 4 and 4s devices...
This isnt only load up, once returning from a sub-menu back to the main menu, it does the same process again.
EDIT:
I just added a random button onto the main menu that changes scene, and once on the main menu i can immediately click it with no delay and it works. This means for whatever reason, the rotating menu function does not operate until the scene has been loaded for 5 seconds, very strange, i cant see any hidden rule anywhere which disables it from working straight away...
