Trying to merge pause/unpause music buttons into one

At the moment I have one button that pauses the music in my game and another to resume it. I would like to try and merge these two buttons into one button. So I need it to do these things:

1. Pause game music while changing image
2. Unpause (resume) game music while going back to original image

I've read a few different threads trying to achieve something similar, but I haven't been able to get it to work right. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks! The video along with the threads I read allowed me to understand what was going on, put it all together and get it to work.
