you also shouldn't use a copyright'd image in your icon, unless you have permission of MINI to use their car.

better then the last one, but if your gonna go for a realistic look like that you need to go color, add the proper lighting, shading and material reflectivness, ect. Also if you have the actual mini cooper logo on the car youll have to take it off, and you probably cant use an exact image of a car like that without permission.

    cheers

9 times out of 10 (unless you're overly picky) if you gotta ask people if something is good enough, it probably isn't.
I like it though, I don't think copyright would be an issue unless they make games as well.

"IS THIS A GOOD ENOUGH ICON?"

It's a start, but it doesn't look amazing, in fact if I were being honest (which I am ;) ) It's doesn't look even like an Icon.

If you are using the picture for a company icon, it's wrong on 2 levels. 1st…your Dad doesn't have the rights to the car in the image, even though he has a repair/restore shop specializing in Mini Coopers, they are a trademarked company. 2nd…There isn't a company on the Earth that uses a photograph for their company logo/icon. Nice car, but I'd try another route if I were you…But that's just me :)

    @ Dego

Like slick said your missing the point. Just because you have the rights to an image of a car, doesnt mean you have the rights to use the car in a game/app. Having rights to a photograph, and having rights to use the likeness of it are two different things.
