Terminal problem please help!

i am trying to create a keytool for android publishing using tenrdrmer's method here.
But when I put commands into terminal, it won't respond at all! I did this a week ago and it worked perfect. why isn't it working anymore?

    Well, after hours of trying to solve this, for some reason, I figure it out minutes after I post on the forums. What I had to do is right click terminal in my doc and open a new one. For some reason the terminal that opens up when I launch android doesn't respond. But the new one I opened by right clicking did.

    Don't copy and paste the code like he shows. You have to type it in or your key will get rejected when you try to submit to android store.
