It's not polite to ask about money.

I personally think asking about money in this context isn't so rude. As no one knows each other in person here really and it's fantastic to have a figure in our head on the potential there is to be made.

I totally get where you're coming from though FBS. I asked a similar question and was hesitant to. But it's awesome to know.
Helps me stay driven! But def a touchy subject. Not so bad though where it's with peers of the same field ( I THINK )

FMG would be wise to be careful not to share his success with the people around him as it changes people.
If I became a success like FMG the only people who would know are you guys.

I would do good things with the money to help who I could but it would be anonymous.
    Just my view.

But yeah! The answers to your question are in Johns link.

I have no problem asking people how much money they've made or how well a game is doing, nor would I feel it was rude if someone were to ask me the same questions I suppose these various social taboos differ from country to country and generation to generation but I have never really understood why it might be considered rude to ask someone what they are getting paid, how much they sold their house for or how well a game is selling.

If I know how much money my peers have made it makes my next burglary that much easier to decide.

Anyone happen to know FMG's home address, was thinking of sending him a 'congratulations' card ?

That would really convenience your next burglary wouldn't it? On a serious note, while you're in FMG's house, would you mind getting his bank account details for me? Thanks.
