Any way to limit the number of characters in keyboard input?

I'm making the option to personalise and name the character in-game using the keyboard. Obviously, I don't want the user to be able to write an essay as the name, so any way I can limit to say 9-10 characters input only? Not sure if this issue was addressed as I remember it being mentioned in the past before.
