icon size?

hey guy sorry if this was asked many times but search thing seem to suck now , before i was getting a lot of info now it sucks, anyways what size i need my icon for the iPhone and iPod, and do i need to have it also double the size for retina? and for iPad too?

    Hey there,
    Your icon size must be 512x512 when submitting to iPhone/ipod/ipad , also it should be a png file with 72dpi .

    thank you very much, so for iPhone 4s i don't need double the size?

    Hmm like i just said mate :
    Your icon size must be 512x512 when submitting to iPhone or iPod or iPad no matter what generation they are.
