I would like to know if there are videos or tutorials or templates already done that can help or if someone can help me with this. I am creating a distance game where everything comes at you from the center of the screen. Basically the background image is a sky and ground. There is a horizon line and I need the objects that come at you to come from the horizon line or "vanishing point" if that makes sense. The objects will be trees and I need them to come at you while scaling bigger in size so by the time the trees reach you it looks like you are going passing through the trunks of the trees.

I guess it would be a type of 3D effect, I am going to school for video game design and development and my instructor taught us game maker. The game I made in game maker I want to make in Gamesalad. I am using 2D trees and basically I need the tree actors to come at you from the randomly on the X-axis but half the screen height. When They come at you, I need them to scale bigger and bigger till they have passed the player and screen then I am going to have them alpha out then destroy themselves.

Simply interpolate the scale and the position.

I think you need to objects to move outwards on the horizontal axis otherwise you have no vanishing point.

As you move through a field of objects everything (except an object you are heading directly towards) will move to your left or your right.
