Android Performance Issues Clarification

Hey everyone,

After doing some research on the forums, I have a couple questions regarding the known issues with Android publishing, specifically to the Amazon store for devices such as the Kindle Fire.

We are all aware of the notorious sound delay problem that some of us (myself included) are still experiencing with the latest version of GameSalad Creator (0.9.0). I vaguely recall reading something about a workaround to this issue, but wasn't quite sure how successful it was and would like your thoughts on it. I know GameSalad is working on an update that will hopefully correct this issue, but until we can be provided with an estimate from @SaladStraightShooter on when that update can be expected, I would love to hear any workarounds anyone has discovered on this issue.

Another issue I am currently experiencing with the Android app I am testing on my Kindle Fire that I haven't read much about on the forums lately is concerning app performance. I am working on an update to one of our apps (iJetSki) and just submitted the iPhone version to Apple. Loading times and performance were excellent on the iPhone version of this app, usually around a second on my iPhone 4S and my business partner's iPhone 4.However, when I ported the SAME project file without making any changes over to my Kindle Fire, loading times skyrocketed to around 5 seconds. I would think this is a known issue, but if anyone has any tips on how to reduce / eliminate this problem, please let me know. Any information on weather or not this particular issue will be addressed in the next update to GameSalad Creator would also be appreciated.

Like other GS developers, these two issues are the only thing standing between me and the Amazon AppStore and the Android Market. Any workarounds, suggestions, or information on GameSalad updates pertaining to these two problems would be great! Thanks everyone.

Since I posted this late last night, I thought I'd bump it to see if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks!

Did you ever find any ways to improve your performance on Android?

I'm just taking my 3rd or so attempt at getting my games to run on Android, this time with my newly purchased Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1". But I'm finding them really slow and jerky, lots of sound issues, etc. But I'm hoping that others out there have some tips and tricks to smoothing things out???

But my gut tells me maybe no one is really using Game Salad to make Android games because it's a bit sluggish and buggy...?
