What happens when Lua Drops?

I know about the 10x Speed increase and the 10x file size reduction.
But, does it mean we have to make projects from scratch or do our projects get transferred/converted over with no problem?

"I know about the 10x Speed increase and the 10x file size reduction."
They are the same thing, if you reduce a file from 100Mb to 10Mb there will obviously be a 10x Speed increase in loading times, I'd be tempted to conflate these two points into just the one, non-Lua Gamesalad files are 10 times smaller (with the obvious corollary being: smaller files load faster).
I'm not sure the actual game engine will be running ten times faster, all they have said is that it will "perform significantly better than any Lua-based engine".
Anyhow, even if they double or triple the current speed it will make a huge difference (along with the smaller files), really looking forward to this getting released !!
One caveat on the 10x smaller files thing, I would guess the greatly reduced file size only refers to the actual code itself rather than the assets, so if you have a very code heavy and complex app you might benefit from a sizeable reduction in file size (loading time) - but if your app is, for instance, largely images then I imagine there will be much less of an reduction in file size.
Anyone got any clues as to when we might see this update ?
i also see them giving us all those cooler features at a faster pace with the LUA out of the picture.
Hey what about Joints or Sprite sheets? They'd be good!
Sounds like you're just trying to make me sound dumb
Yes, but not 10x dumber, only "significantly" dumber. :P
Your voice gets deeper maybe?

HA!
I see what you did there =D>

If the engine is in c++ (although they haven't said) I'd most like to see publishing to PC as an option. Just like with Unity you can publish to pretty much anything. If GS did that, I'd be most pleased.
Hopefully they won't also spring some random/draconian change to publishing/pricing on us either.
