I saw this question being asked but I did not see an answer and digging through all of today's hate posts is a lot of work. So ... how do you do this? Currently a basic member.

    When you go to publish your app in the second screen (during the publishing process) there will be an advanced button...that is where you would add your splash screen.

    Hmmm, I don't see it. I'm only seeing the option to open full screen or in a window. I'll log out and log in and see what happens.

    No luck. :-/ Sigh... I just want to upload things to Mac again.

    I've uploaded two apps for Mac. Never could get an option for a custom splash screen. It sounded like that was an option for basic users now but it wasn't in my advanced options. I guess I'll see in a couple weeks what the apps look like... and how pissed the users are about them.

    @PeterGisHere - When navigating through the publishing flow. After you've input your 512x512 icon image and filled out your other various information for that page. Hit next. You will then see at the bottom (middle area) a button that says "advanced options". Click that and you will be given an area to place your custom splash image.

    And for clarity, it has been made available for free users. So you shouldn't have any problem finding it.

    Cheers.

    I see it if I try to publish for iPad. But when I select publish for Mac it's not under advanced options.

    Hm.. Strange.. This should be what you see when you click "Advanced Options" on the second page of publishing.

    The place where it says "Choose a File" will be what you want to click to add your new custom image.

    Note: This is what it should look like for MacBook publishing.

    @LeonardDeveloper

    It's on it's way back. Just updating to "GameHunk" status. :)

    And.. It should probably go without saying.. but I will ask anyways: You all DID remember to update your GameSalad to 0.9.91....riiiiiiiiiigggghhttt? :) - Otherwise, this will not work. I've logged into a free account, and a Pro account, and can confirm that it works for iOS and Macintosh publishing.. I also want to note that I haven't done any magic GameSalad voodoo to make this work. If you've updated to 0.9.91, go through the publishing flow and take a screenshot of what you see when you click advanced options if you don't see the same prompt that I've posted above.

    Of course I upgraded! I may look like one but I'm not an idiot! :P
    Ill post a screenshot soon...

    I have the latest version. Gamesalad isn't letting me log into publishing right now. I'll do that later and get a screen shot. But basically the screen is the exact same as it was for basic users before the upgrade. The advanced options are open full screen or don't open full screen. That's it. Maybe a complete uninstall and reinstall of GS is necessary?

    Under about gamesalad it should say pro if your account had pro. You may need to log out and back into the creator a few times
