9.91 Splash Screen on iPad rotates, looks horrible

As the title suggests...I throw my splash screen on landscape mode, and it initially displays correctly and then shifts as if I had changed the device orientation of the iPad (i didn't, I tried it 4 times) making the logo look really bad and squeezed...any 1 else confirm that this is a bug?

    i have this problem too! it auto rotates from landscape to portrait when you first launch the game.
