inkscape zoom problem

hey guys, i've designed a background, and now i want to add details, when i zoom the image the inkscape get very lag, it takes time to move nodes , how can i fix? ty

    if it is not a raster image you should not have any issues. You may save your working file then create a new inkscape file then import your previously saved file into new one.
