Shaky performance?

I have been opening old project files up and preparing them for upload to Amazon and noticing a lot of shaky performance. The apps seem to stutter, anyone else having this problem? I restarted my Mac thinking it could be an issue on my side but no luck. It's not on my side as I have the i7 macbook pro with 8 gigs of ram, just curious if anyone else is having this issue.
