hey guys so i manage to get a iPhone 3g, this time my adhoc file is working fine, when i click on the actors it does send me to my new scene, however iPod 2nd still won't work, but what i am really sad is that my game is getting very low fps, and this make the game playing really horrible, even the music sounds weird, i only have 4 birds moving , they all are constraining x and y position, and the only time i spawn something is when they get kill, aim not even doing nothing on the game and i get 12 fps like that,. i might have a maximum of 50 actors that make my background and score, all this unmovable. what should be the reason, is this what we called a bug?

Apple doesn't support 3G now anyway. Will probably run fine on the new iPhones.

@guilleface You should be testing on many different generations of devices both iPhone and iPod touch for best results.

    Hope this helps,

Yep totally agree with @jckmcgraw - I aim to make the best game possible.
If it only runs on the i4S then so be it, I don't wanna hold back and ruin my companies overall impression.
    If it's a great game it'll sell anyway :)

well aim really disappointed in gamesald or iPhone or my self, i only have few actors :( i also try the car racer z template from deep blue and he says it runs smooth on older devices, but it does runs slow too, i don't know if its me but i guess in the end i hope is because this devices are old. i don't want to cancel my game or redo the whole thing.

eventhough the 2g is probably adding to ur problems im thinking the cause of your problem is more in how you're optimizing it, or lack of optimization. i test my game via adhoc on a 2g ipod touch and it runs fine. i have all sorts in my scene. recyling, spawning, destroying, constrains, music, particles. the only time it will go slow is for a minute or 2 when the first scene starts after that... very very good.

can it be might be both ipods being defective, like even my board game, no constraining, spawing actors , all i have is 2 dices and a actor moving and some scores display and it wont work on ipod 2nd and the viewer shows 0 fps. and in the iphone 3g i get like 30 fps. also i read that iphone 3g with 4.2.1 runs very slow ? should i just keep armv7, if i do ,what ever fps i get on the ipad 2 viever, will this be the same for all higher devices?

Have you restarted your device as of late? or closed down any of the programs running? If you have a lot of programs open in the background that could cause some of the slowdown problem you're noticing.

Are you also checking out the builds via adhoc? Using the viewer is currently an exercise in frustration, as you don't get a true representation of how the game runs. I would suggest not using it all together.

Lastly, I think supporting anything below an iPhone 4, at this point, is not worth it.

yeah and deleted both the viewer and the creator and installed again, anyways i decide to stay with armv7 only, does any one know if my game will run good on the iPhone 4, iPad 1 if i am getting 60 fps on a iPad 2?

yea i'm sticking with armv7 for all my apps (one already out the next will be armv7 aswell) ... no point making a game on a model that won't run it properly... and personally my opinion is its great to have it on all platforms but i think most end users have the 3GS or newer nowadays anyway.. and i reckon the 3GS's days are numbered as well not having it armv7 isn't going to really hit your sales back if your games good.
