How many Gamesalad users ARE there?

I wonder if there is a statistic out there somewhere?
How many unique GS users?
How many PRO users?

What would be your best guess? 500 users. or 5000 users? Gee who would know. I seem to see the same handful of names in the forums only. Maybe everyone is just looking and not contributing.

    well, before we move to this forum there were about 50000 register users(I think)

    If you understand responce rates it's not uncommon to have a large base of customers with only say one percent who would write to you or comment so it's pretty normal. I know I didn't come to the forums until long after I published my first app. Some people don't need or want to be spoon fed information, they take responsibility for learning it themselves.

    haha! shaz..lol... common Darren, are those really your monthly template sales or are you hiding a "bajillion" under your belt somewhere?! ... on a side note 80-90K is a lot.. are you guys saying 80-90k are making apps? or just on the forums browsing? where are all these awesome gamesalad games then ... actually anyone know the number of published iOS games/apps made using gamesalad?

    @Saz_1 - If you sell 1,000,000 games and buy 1,000,000 games only Apple get rich.

    But if every GS user downloaded the free game made with GS... that would help. Imagine how 50k free downloads on your release day would help your chart position.

    true^ ... stick in some IAd's and then were going down a dodgy little yellow brick road :P .... but i think the point about the free apps is a good one especially as we are all indie devs in a sense and don't have that massive marketing budget... imagine the top 50 free apps spot all taken up by GS made games that would be epic!
