i don't think it costs anything ... i emailed them once they replied saying that i had made my app already free once before in less than 6 months so i would have to wait until after 6months from the date it was last free then they would do it... not sure how accurate their information was though

Now it costs $7000-$10.000 or even more and is worth nothing. A friend of mine paid them $13.000 a few days ago for 2 games in a bundle and he had 7000 downloads and 0 revenue in IAP.
@tshirtbooth - didn't you say that Zombie Drop ended up getting 100,000 downloads on your FAAD day?
We're thinking about how we're going to let the mobile gaming world know about Ao when it's finished. But all the places I'm contacting at the moment seem pretty expensive...

Are we talking about free downloads?! pay $7000-$10.000 to get ~200,000 free downloads? its absurd ! i can think of few much better ways to spend the money.. If i had $7000-$10.000 to spend on "marketing" i would personally go on the streets and give 1$ for peoples to purchase my game.
@P-O-M But the point is to get those downloads on one day and push you into the US top 50. How long you stay there is another story. But you're paying for the initial chart visibility. So we're far from decided (anyway Ao isn't even finished). But we're thinking about it...
No way! There are plenty of other free freeapp websites out there. His Adventure got 200,000 downloads through one and was top of the charts in france and in the top 5 10 and 50 in a number of others. Don't pay for these services!
