Total installs on Android Market?

I have a paid app on Android Market. My total installs are 10. I was wondering that do total installs include the installs that have been cancelled?

I have a free one out right now, Penguin Pounce Lite, and it is gaining popularity.
It only had 2-5 downloads for a couple days, now its at 70+ a day.

I don't believe total installs includes cancelled. Total installs should be the total number installed ever. So I suppose if they purchased it, downloaded it and then returned it while they had the chance it would still tally up under your total installs.

Net installs is the amount of active installs.
