Game landscape iPod portrait?

Ok I have a landscape iPhone game but when I try to test It the notification center is portrait so when I try to drag the ball out of the corner it doesn't move and that little thing for the notification center comes out

    I really think apple screw it up with this , that "little thing" for the notification is driving me crazy daily !
    Its not a GS fault though ..
