Offering my services in logo and stationary design completely FREE of charge

Hey guys,
I'm a professional illustrator and interface designer for an engineering company, and I'm looking to start working for myself creating/selling graphics. I think that logo's and stationary (letterheads, business cards, etc) is a good place to start, then maybe I'll move in to game graphics further down the line. However before I start charging for my services I need to build up a portfolio for my website, whilst brushing up my skills a bit.
Therefore I'm looking for anybody who would be interested in any (free) logo design, and/or custom stationary to go along with it. I'm not just looking for game-related stuff either, I need to get good at designing logos of all types, so whether you run your own business, or you know someone who does, or maybe your band needs a logo, etc, I would love the chance to have a go at designing a logo for you. Again I'm doing this completely free (until I get enough practice anyway) and all I ask is that I can use the logos / stationary I design in my portfolio.
I also want to start offering a logo repair service, so if you have a logo already but you want a higher quality version made, etc, I am happy to have a go at that too.
Your designs will be made in Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign, and will be sent to you in industry standard formats ready for printing or using online. I can't guarantee any turn-around times as I'm fitting this round my day job, but I'll be working on these jobs as they're requested.
I think that's it, post any requests or questions below. Thanks, Barry

i have no skills in graphic design but my premise for the game company/ feel of the logo was a device (iphone/ipad) getting injected with my game, and the logo have it showing somehow the iPhone getting infused with a new great experience. so the logo would have the searing half pushed with the iPhone half half filled with the game.
my example
a stylized vector logo incorporating something like that would be awesome.
email me at morphinegamingmachine@aol.com if you can do this for me, or with questions

Just to let you guys know I'm working to UK time, so depending on where you all are I might be in bed when you email me, and vice-versa, but I'll be working on these designs before and after work so hopefully I'll have something ready to show you guys soon.
Everyone else, keep the requests rolling in - the more the better!
Thanks, Barry.
Can you make one for me?

I am interested. My email is theea_ron@yahoo.com and was curious if you could and don't mind, send me a few, via email that you have already done so I can get the vibe of what your style is. I just want to thank you in advance and look forward to seeing what you can do!
Thanks,

This is a great way to build your portfolio, and I'd love if you could email me at matt@chosenonemedia.com.
Thanks,
Matt
Would it be possible of you are still available to do one for me?
Boxed Up Studios,
If you can then please email me at: Boxedupstudios(at)gmail.com
Thanks
Emails sent to @poopdecksweeper, @killerpenguins, @Philie and @Gnomer.
Remember guys I'm working on these in the order that they are requested, so it might take a little while to get to the requests further down, but I'll be working on these on evenings and weekends (and possibly lunch breaks too) so hopefully I won't keep anyone waiting too long.
I know that the Gamesalad forum is obviously heavily biased towards games development, but I'm willing to design logos for just about anything, so feel free to post requests for anything else even if it's not related to Gamesalad (Florists, cake-makers, online shops, - you name it). But Game dev company logos are obviously great too, the more the merrier.
Thanks all, Barry.

If anyone else is interested then feel free to keep adding requests to this thread. Obviously as the list grows the people near the bottom will have longer to wait, but I'll get through all of the requests as quick as I can.
Thanks, Barry.
The first one is my new splash screen
And the second is the banner for the website I'm currently woking on

Thanks again!
And a professional request... I work as a teacher at a K-8 school and teach Game Design using GameSalad. I'm just getting started, but the students are having a blast. It would be fun to offer them a custom splashscreen for their apps that has the school's mascot and/or name. The school is Saint Mark's (http://www.saintmarksschool.org), our mascot is the Skylion (e.g. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_VVrAtRR2-UQ/SkxUvWACYrI/AAAAAAAAAD8/-3KiHSBqlYw/s320/sky_lion.jpg; our current logo is http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_sKAy4DG2Zkk/S2nOlMuElJI/AAAAAAAAAB8/XSsMogX8MBI/S640/LION.gif) and our school colors are blue and gold. If you made a logo, I could add text, or you could add text (something to the effect of "A Saint Mark's Game" or "Saint Mark's Game Design").

What I'll have to say is that for now @tatiang will be the cutoff point, as I need to get on top of the requests I already have before I work out how many more I can take on. I will send some emails out to the rest of the guys above that I haven't contacted yet, but sorry to anyone else I won't be taking any more free jobs on for the foreseeable future.
Thanks, Barry.

@ the few people that posted above, sorry guys I mentioned in my previous comment that I won't be able to take on any more free jobs for the foreseeable future. I'll be doing all requests up to @tatiang, and then I'll have to step away from it to work on my website and get the business side of things set up. Thanks to all for your interest though, hopefully I'll be able to help you all out in some way in the future. (Spoiler: I have a few graphics related freebies planned...)
He had great ideas from the get-go and was flexible and willing to accomodate my needs. So thanks a million, Barry!
