Should i uncheck the Preload art for all my images

    No , just for the actors that you don't see when the scene is initially appearing ..

    I have been getting good results by unchecking pre load on every image except for animations. My game has only 1 pre loaded actor for my scenes, and thats for a little box that animates when you touch it, and that's it. I don't have it checked for the background, or any of the other actors on the stage. Haven't had any negative issues on a 4S or a 3GS so far.

    me too @SlickZero … no sense in loading up MEM before you need it
    (though before we had that option … used to have a small off-screenActor pre-loading all the next scene images while player spent time playing)

    now most all my actors have a generic transparent 2x2.png … with correct W,H … and 1st behavior; changeAttribute self.Image to the correct one.
    so scene loads one image … and actorRules/Behaviors … then starts fast
