Hi guys,

Hopefully just a quick one.

If I had an actor what you can move, how do you make it so it pings back to its original location once you have released your press?

Thanks as always for your help.

Cheers,

Chris

You have to log it's first position with two self attributes when touch is pressed and then when touched is released interpolate back to those attributes. You should have a timer so when touched is pressed for .1 change self. attribute x y to self.position x y and then when touch is release interpolate to those saved positions. What some of the videos and you'll learn about all this.

Not sure you'd even need to make two attributes for X and Y, just stick interpolate back to orginal coordinates in the 'otherwise' section of the rule that allows you to move the actor around.
