Confusion over splash screen

So I'm confused, I've gone through discussions and seem to be reading mixed answers.
I am currently a free user, oh how I want to be Pro but god help me I can't afford it right now :( getting apple dev membership has wiped me out already.

The app/game I currently working on is quite specific to the region in which I live. My main audience will be the local community and population as the game heavily references the area.

My questions however are, as a free user, when I publish an iPhone app, will the app contain the 'Made with Gamesalad' logo on start-up? In addition, what exactly is PlayHaven? is it intermittent ads whilst the user is playing?

This is not a case of, I don't want to pay to go pro, because if I could afford it's the first thing I would do. I just can't afford it at the moment which is a real shame.

    Theres one playhaven screen when the game starts and thats it, and you get rid of the gamesalad splash screen and import your own. Its under the advanced options when you publish.

    Ok Thank you, that's great news. Obviously if I am lucky enough to push enough units to get pro membership that is the first thing I am doing! I love how fast you guys reply! Thanks again!

    I've been away for a while... whale migration?
    if your publishing with 9.91 then NO you will NOT have the gamesalad splash screen
    you will have your own image for the splash screen and then you will have an Ad from play haven.
    So we have a choice of the GS splash screen OR an add, or are adds now mandatory with the free version?

    Q - and what if the device you're running it on has no net access? ( Like my iPad 1, which I no longer have service for, since getting an iPhone. )

    Darn... I would have much rather had the Made By GameSalad splash screen than PlayHeaven. Looks like just another incentive to go Pro. Hopefully that will be soon.

    So I can't use image bigger than 480x320 for the iPhone?

    So as a pro-user we have to turn off the Playhaven ad system?

    I must have missed this - where do we turn it off?
