animation

hello folks, newbie here, i have a bunch of animated gif files i would like to use in game salad, when i bring them into the program with the animation behavior all i get is the still from frame 1- Do i have to import them 1 frame at a time or is there away to just use the gif file i already have with out going frame for frame. Thanks for the help in advance

    You have to import all the frames to play the animation!

    Unfortunately you will have to import them as separate images. GamesSalad does not support GIFs or movies.

    @gotyours … also, unfortunately, you will have to create the images of any .gif as separate layers! :-((

    ah … but as you have a bunch of them … you already know that!

    boo well thats kinda what i was thinking thanks for clearing that up for me- back to my trusty old photo shop i go- hey is there a mac program out there that will split the gif for me
