What do you think of this idea ?
Hello guys !
I was wondering what you think of this idea I have.
Im thinking of making a game with a real person "human" animated character.
Im going to place myself infront of a "green screen" and record all the movements for the game
This character is going to fight robots and aliens in an cartoon animated enviroment.
The name of the game is going to be " The Lost World "
Let me know what you think !
Thanks !

But the idea sounds cool. There was a game a little over a year ago that had that style of graphics. It was a guy riding a bike around different real scenery, doing flips and such, and it was pretty cool looking.

It's an interesting idea but look at it this way. If you are going to do it for your own personal self and not plan on selling it or going to do a triple A game then maybe but if you are looking to do a mobile game and plan on selling it and make it big then it most likely isn't gonna happen and do well. It will probably grab peoples attention for a few minutes because it will be different but then they will quickly loose interest. There isn't really a market for that. Just some food for thought.
Please don't think I am bashing your idea because I'm not. I think it's a cool idea and I have even come up with a few games myself like this but I just looked at the market and saw what people really wanted and are into and saw that there really isn't a big market for that.
Plus, if you were to really want to go forth with your idea, I probably don't think GameSalad is your best bet to go. I would look more into either Corona SDK or UDK or possibly Unity but I don't think you are really gonna get what you are fully wanting to accomplish in GameSalad. Again, not bashing, cool idea but when in this business, yes you got to be original, creative and off the top but sometimes got to be logical about what the majority of the market is after if that is your initial goal!
