Hi GS community ,

Iv been experimenting with a new game character ( 8 bit hero) .

The collisions are starting to annoy me.

When it walks , its fine because the walking frames for the animations are the same size , therefore same collision.

Its attack frames are different sizes . This means that the size of the images is confined to the original actor and the collisions are all wrong.

Is there anyway to correct this / will there be a better collision/animation editor thingy

Thanks

all images in an animation sequence should be the same size …

when creating images for any animation … you use the largest size layer as the size for your other layers
this is true in most animation programs … even in gif images

is there a way to make the collision area smaller than the image size?

Are you familiar with magnitude? You could create a collision area with that, although you'd need to use constrains on the players x and y values
