Nice, really liking the iso buildings, @dhondon. What do you put those together in, mate?

@Quire Thanks! They're made with Softimage 7.01 (cant afford to upgrade).
  • QuireQuire Member Posts: 54
@dhondon Softimage, excellent. Never used it myself - I use Silo for modelling and modo for UV and rendering on Mac, although I'm determined to get more into 3ds Max, as games clients definitely prefer it, and the chap who sits opposite me in the office is an absolute genius with it! That said, we were admiring some Softimage work just the other day - that new Audi hummingbird ad.

I've noted your Softimage skills, mate - if anyone comes to us needing Softimage, I'll shout you.

I've gotten a lot of questions about pricing the last week, so I've added some price estimates/examples on some of the pieces in my portfolio. I'll add some more info on some of the remaining pieces and I'll probably add some info on the technique/tool I've used (some of the price differences might seem strange if you don't know how its made).

My availability status can be found on my contact page: http://shadow-embryo.com/contact/

Amazing job! How good do you feel with pixel-art animations (non isometric - more like old Sierra/Lucas Art adventure games)? I have a little project in mind, and I would need few animations. Not now, but after two months from now.

I have no experience with pixel-art, and no plans to learn it unfortunately.
But I'm sure you'll find some on over at: http://www.pixeljoint.com/

I absolutely LOVE your spaceships and weapons! I have a huge liking for things like that

Having trouble with your game? Sounds like a personal problem.
