easter eggs in your game?
Has anyone been putting easter eggs into their game for players to find? I was just working on an update for my game and thought it'd be funny to put something in the about screen (which I'll be thanking the entire GameSalad community for your help) and if the spot is touched a screen will pop up. Right off the bat its going to be an inside joke among me and my friends but I was also thinking of eventually adding a message in there a couple of weeks before my next game comes out. The message would be like, "Congrats, you've found the easter egg. As a reward please email us (I'll provide the email address) with this code word in the subject line. If you're one of the first 20 people to email us you'll receive a complimentary promo code good for a free download of our next game." Something to reward people that have bought my first one and poked around enough to find it. Maybe even put something in the update notes that there is an easter egg. Once all the codes are taken I'll just put out another update removing that easter egg.
