Roll to a stop?

Is it possible to get my ball, in my platformer, to roll to a stop (only very slightly), rather than just stop completely? Thanks!

    Sound easy, thanks! I'll try to get it working now.

    I also need to work out how to make the jump height based on how long you hold the button, with a max height. Shouldn't be too hard, right?

    Also, I have to make movement based on acceleration, rather than change velocity, or you fall too slowly while moving in the air. Is there a way to make him move max speed instantly? At the moment, he rolls at full speed straight away, but takes a fraction of a second to get up to full speed. It's a bit jarring.
