Tire tracks

Hi guys,

Was just wondering what you guys thought would be the best way of generating tire tracks (for example) so that the actor leaves behind a trail or where it goes. couldn't be a solid trail though, it would have to be more random to make it look more realistic.

Maybe particles? I don't know,

    If per say you wanted fading tire tracks you could surely just recycle or spawn an image? I'm not too sure about particles as I personally don't use them much. I will try and make a demo now :)

    You can probably do it with particles, but you need to play a lot with the location, direction and rotation to get it right.

    Question is if you want the tire tracks to always show or just when you break or start driving. DeepBlueApp have a very nice break tire track implementation in their Racer template, but I'm not sure you can use the same method for having on going tracks.
