QR code in a thread?

I think it will be very useful to have a QR code on top of every thread, it will allow everyone to access to a page a lot quicker if you own a phone that can take photos

    me… I would be satisfied with a Forum RSS feed and an GS iOS app for that … which I think I asked for awhile back :(

    @calvin9403 ... lol .... I actually didn't really have an opinion either way .. it's just fun to make those ... my son loves walking around teh house trying to find products to scan with our iPad .... GS would make his day if they had a bunch on the forum.

    @MotherHoose ... are you suggesting I'm making accommodations for size deficiencies in other areas :)) .... I was just using 'retina graphics' honest :D

    If every thread has a QR code at the top it will allow people to access the thread a lot quicker.


    All you have to do is this, go to the thread you want to read, get out your phone, launch your QR reading software, point your phone at the thread's QR code and snap a picture, the QR reading software will then decode the image and give you a URL which you can then type into your browser which will take you to the thread you want to read (which happens to be the one you went to in the first place to scan the QR code).

    What don't you get about this excellent time saving idea ?

    Agree, qr code is useful, at same time, it's easy to make a qr code images for thread with some free online resources.
