Double click Actor gets it deleted

Twice I have had this when I double click an actor in the actors panel, it does not open as normal, just gets deleted.

Very odd.

    yeah. i got many problems with actors disappearing without warning. just make backups of your game file every 10 minutes or so. then when something crazy happens, just go back to the last working file.
    also, restart GS often to avoid it getting very slow and even more buggy.
