Wood? (In games) [LEONARDDEV]

Dear All,
I'm currently working on a wood styled word game, Well the ideas been there for about 3 weeks Now I'm taking action!, I decided to have the app based on Wood wood GUI, Wood Letters... The whole lot! I thought it might look a bit over-woody... But it actually looks clean and simple. I got inspired by the wood idea by @tshirtbooths 's "Star Daze" Which as we all know is a very clean and stunning app.
Im just wondering where it is possible to get a wood GUI? Or have you had experience using wood in games? Or any advice yu could give me
I'm also looking for a wood sign. Like basically a slab of wood.. With 2 chains coming out the top.... Now don't worry I'm not "stealing" @spriteattacks idea of a wooden sign post scrolling up, Like other members have done.... This is just merely a prop for my menu screen!,

So any "Wood Resources" or where to get them "Wood" be good! For you people that won't read long threads; "Im just wondering where it is possible to get a wood GUI? Or have you had experience using wood in games? Or any advice yu could give me "

Im sorry, It just seems strange that a person who joined 4 days ago wants to give me loads of full graphics designs for free, And they didn't even describe them.... Im sorry until you provide more info it sounds very fishy... Thanks anyway

Nothing fishy about cnmeyers ive worked with him before and hes a great guy. Also hes not asking for your project file, hes just offering to help. So i dont see what the problem is to begin with. Not sure why you would ask for help if you dont want it.

Hi,
If you have basic photoshop skills you could go that way.
Basic wood is easily made with help of Filter>Render>Fibers

Yeah, I made the wood and stuff thanks to @spriteattack 's tutorials but theres only so far you can go to make the rest in inkscape..

Came across this when looking for some vector art, and I remembered you were looking for some wooden stuff. It's for a wood based web design, but would be perfect for a wood based ui in a game.
