Splash screen displays in portrait for a second

I just installed my app on my iPad, and I see that my splash screen displays in portrait for a second and then corrects itself to landscape. (My splash screen looks weird in portrait mode.) This only happens when the Playhaven ad is about to appear. The ad sometimes doesn't show, and thn my splash screen looks normal.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?

    And will Apple care that my splash screen appears squished for a second? That seems like the kind of thing, among many, that could trigger a rejection.

    I have seen a few apps that have splash screens that shift from landscape to portrait and viceversa. I can't imagine them rejecting the app for that.

    OK, I've done some hunting around on the forum and I see that other people had the "squished" splash screen issue. What was the solution to this problem? I tried rotating my .png to the right as suggested, but I still get a squished version.

    i'd stay away from the splash screen until it's completely fixed. You can just create another scene, and call it your own splash screen. Make sure that scene loads first.

    The app won't be rejected (at least mine weren't)
