GS Plug-In

Hi guys. I have been trying to get GS plug-in to install but I can't. Is it as simple as just pressing download?

    If you are talking about the one some of the arcade games say is required that doesn't work. those games do not playonline because they are no html% and GS no longer uses the old style arcade format that those required. unfortunately they are just no longer available until the web team pulls their head out of their ******* and at the very least undoes the mess they have created with how useless it is again to publish templates and demos for others to be able to check out and download.

    Personally I find it totally outrageous that many of the great project demos made by some of the most talented GS developers are no longer available. These were given freely to the community and have played a big part in the success of many people and GS in general. The arrogance and lazyness that lets these remain out of reach week after week after month is quite astounding.

    They have simply been stolen from the community - wtf is going on.

    I have to agree with you @Rob2 Its very frustrating these are no longer available. Someone completely out of touch with how the community used those as well as out of touch with how valuable those demo project are to the community seemed to make a decision about something that affects every single member of these community in a negative way. And for what ever reason doesn't seem to give a !@#$%.

    @Salad I feel your being a bit pedantic about the use of the word 'stolen'. These templates DID work even after many of the updates, some really cool stuff was created through people learning from those resources. It just seems a shame to see peoples work effectively lost and wasted for the newer members.

    Also tenrdrmer is probably frustrated as the communication is always poor and feedback is not listened too unless it means everyone leaves (e.g. Gamesalad Direct or whatever it was called!).

    @Salad ... the problem is not just the old templates ... for months now people kindly have been creating solutions to questions on the forums or just creating cool effects or demos to share and have been providing links to outside download sites for those templates. 2 or 3 days go by and those forum threads get buried and that work is frustratingly lost. I have posted numerous times with no effect on how this is user created content and has huge value to GS. I won't post on this again because I think you have the message ... will be able to see by the reaction and action of GS whether someone there agrees.

    @Salad I understand what you mean and I understand you kinda have to pick up on that stuff :) Though I disagree on its implied meaning as within all conversations the context is the key factor to the meaning of the word and in this case I think its hard to say it is meant with a serious tone.

    I'm glad that you are working on the issue, more importantly thank you for giving us a status update on the matter! :)
