Loading/Saving actor pixels...

I'd like to allow users the ability to load their own graphics to replace those supplied in my iPhone game as a fun option. I know we can load/save scores and attributes, but can we save/load pixel based actors? I'd also need a replace actorONE with actorLOADED command.
Any thoughts?? If we can't do this now, is this on the future features list?
P.S. The reason I thought this would be doable is because users can load their own PDF/MOV documents into an app such as GoodReader and it will load/render/save same.
