Can you edit GS games with Xcode?

I've been looking around the forums and it looks like you can't but I wanted a second opinion. If no, how can they restrict the code once it's in another application? I wanted to use GS to get as far as I could and then move it into xcode to edit. can I or can't I?

    Unity is an alternative if you have XCode skills. You program in javascipting and have access to the XCode (if you pay the $$$).
