Publishing to iOS automically publishes to Game Salad Arcacde?

I read in the thread for feature requests GameSalad automatically publishes to GameSalad Arcade when you're PRO? Since I'm about to dish the 500 bucks for GameSalad Pro I would like to know if this is true? The post int he thread claimed that one could not omit this, which seems more than unreasonable to me.

    You must have misread... GameSalad doesn't automatically publish anything. You have to publish separately for each type: iOS, Android, and HTML5 (arcade). So, you're safe to publish to iOS and Android without worrying about your game ending up on arcade.

    To echo @LiquidGameWorks- This is simply not true. It is the choice of the developer to which platforms you would like to publish to. Pros are not forced to publish their games on GameSalad Arcade.

    What might have been misconstrued is that, when publishing in HTML5, you must first publish to GameSalad Arcade. From there, you can access an embed code to share your game (via HTML5) on the web.

    Ah, thank you guys for clarification. I think it did refer to the HTML5 issue then, which still seems to be lamentable to me - but indeed it did not explicitly mention that - so I was under the impression that *any* publishing would result in the game arriving on GS Arcade.

    Off to get my PRO license then. :)
