Drag/Arrow thing+timer bar like Tshirtbooths

So looking at Tshirtbooths thread "(TshirtBth) -- 1 Year in the life of .. Update thread. and I was wondering how to make the arrows where you drag your finger to each box I dont want it at angles like his just up/down left/right.

Also he has a timer progress bar I watched his progress bar on gshelper.com do I do the same thing there?
