How do I make my actor move with a platform

I have a moving platform which interpolates back an forth across a river in my platform game. When my hero actor lands on the platform i want it to take the actor to the other side of the river with the actor. at the moment when my actor stops on the platform the platform moves but the actor does not how can I make them move together?

    try constraining the x and y of the actor to the platform.
