Error:-128

While creating a Certificate through keychain access, I keep getting "Error:-128"
Please help

ErrorCode 128 is a catchall … everything from user cancelled to permission denied

you can use the Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility.app to repair permissions

1st close all other open apps …
and restart your computer

and try again … a couple years ago … took me forever to finally get a certificate for another computer … so you are not alone

if you still can't get it working … contact Apple Support … online is the fastest
